Objectives Derby Regeneration Fund

Derby City Council have approved the creation of a 10 million Regeneration Fund to support the delivery of new high quality commercial development to continue the progress made in establishing Derby as a 21st Century investment location. Derby City Council are therefore seeking to identify projects which will deliver high quality employment space and employment opportunities, where Regeneration Funding can be invested to bring forward appropriate schemes, which may otherwise be unable to proceed.

Objectives City Centre Living Initiative

Derby City Council have approved the City Centre Living Initiative, a loan based fund of 6.5 million made available (subject to budget process) to owners of vacant and under occupied commercial properties in the City Centre for conversion to residential accommodation. This initiative is intended to support the delivery of new high quality residential development to continue the progress made in establishing Derby as a diverse and 21st Century investment location.

Thomas Lister continue to act as programme managers to implement both Regeneration Funds on behalf of Derby City Council and to appraise all projects seeking funding. An accelerated appraisal procedure has been put in place and Thomas Lister will work with all Applicants to bring forward appropriate schemes as soon as possible.
