Derby City Council have approved the creation of a 10 million Regeneration Fund to support the delivery of new high quality commercial development to continue the progress made in establishing Derby as a 21st Century investment location. Derby City Council are therefore seeking to identify projects which will deliver high quality employment space and employment opportunities, where Regeneration Funding can be invested to bring forward appropriate schemes, which may otherwise be unable to proceed.

Thomas Lister have been appointed as programme managers to implement the Regeneration Fund on behalf of Derby City Council and to appraise all projects seeking funding. An accelerated appraisal procedure has been put in place and Thomas Lister will work with all Applicants to bring forward appropriate schemes as soon as possible.


The Regeneration Fund was formally launched on 23rd November 2010 by Alan Grimadell, Councillor with Portfolio for Leisure and Chief Executive Adam Wilkinson. Good initial interest has been received for the Regeneration Fund and discussions with a number of potential Applicants underway.
